It is gratifying to see the growth in the number of people attending the wide variety of services held at the Church. Beautiful music now enhances many of the services with the increase in the choir’s numbers and repertoire. It is pleasing that 10% of the Church’s income is given away to deserving causes both at home and abroad.

 

But there are parts of the parish which are neglected and forgotten because they present a difficult challenge.

Over the years, the fabric i.e. buildings of the Church and the Hall has also been partially neglected.

With both these issues it is not really surprising as there is only a limited group of willing people who are prepared to face and then try to resolve these challenges.

 

God has given everyone differing talents and if they could be used, then the challenges can be faced. To maximise the talents will mean commitments of time, money and prayer.

 

In giving so we receive; overcoming the challenges will increase our sense of belonging to the great Christian family.
